Nirjhar is a book collector and an audiophile. He owns hundreds of vinyl records, a library that doesn't fit on one wall, and a Discogs invoice he's tired of paying. He's also a founding member of Artist Club Limited (~110 book publishers) and runs Record Store Day Bangladesh.

The competitive landscape is structurally broken. Goodreads hasn't shipped a real feature since the Amazon acquisition. StoryGraph is beautiful but commerce-allergic. Discogs runs a 9% tax that has its own sellers in revolt. CLZ Music looks like Excel for vinyl. Mooch is a peer-lending fossil.

Boooks unifies what those tools split apart. Books and music in one library. Social proof without an algorithmic feed. Lending tracked like an asset. A marketplace that doesn't bleed sellers. B2B tools (POS, supply, catalog) for indie shops, publishers, and libraries on top of the same spine.
